I’m a chronic shopper, and I admit it. Whenever I see printed t-shirts displayed in the mall or any boutique, something inside me pushes me to pull out my wallet and buy it. This has been a bother for a couple of years now, and I can’t help it.

It all started with me being an impulsive buyer. That was the time when I had a raise in my salary. After I got my check, I immediately went to a stall on the sidewalk across the street and bought me a pair of printed promotional t-shirts. That was the first time I felt satisfaction with buying t-shirts.

The situation changed from bad to worst when my friend and I went to a mall a couple of months ago. The whole place was on sale, and there were a lot of temptations for me to buy printed promotional long sleeve t-shirts off the rack. Unlike other shoppers, I don’t really choose what I get. I don’t even try the shirt on to know if it’s in my size. I just get one from the shelf, and then go straight to the counter to buy it.

It has evolved into something quite scary now. Walking down the street and seeing people walking around in their printed promotional short sleeve t-shirts sends shivers down my spine. The urge to buy comes within me. I hope it goes away, because I don’t want to be forced to do something that I’ll surely regret in the future.
